Update: 2020-03-19 09:30 GMT
Following the rise of the positive patients in Telangana, the government has made all the requirements to quarantine all the passengers (Indians and foreign nationals) who arrive at Hyderabad's Rajiv Gandhi International Airport (RGIA).

Telangana government has gained some negative image with the way they are treating the passengers returned from foreign countries. The government is shifting all the passengers who test positive for the novel coronavirus to Vikarabad and Dulapally and there they will be kept in special isolation wards in government hospitals.

"This includes those who arrive through direct flights or via hubs like Dubai, Abu Dhabi or have a travel history to these seven countries after March 15," a memo issued by Special Chief Secretary (Health and Family Welfare) read.

At the time of quarantine, if any shows the symptoms, the patients will be shifted to the special hospitals upon following the procedure for isolation.

"The passengers should be counselled on the need for quarantine and the procedure being adopted. All symptomatic passengers will be isolated and escorted to isolation facilities at designated hospitals. All asymptomatic passengers will be sent to the quarantine facility for a period of 14 days," the memo added
