Senior producer Tammareddy Gopalakrishna Murthy breathed his last in Hyderabad. He is the father of director-cum-producer Tammareddy Bharadwaj.
Mr. Gopalakrishna Murthy produced hits films like Bangaru Gajulu, Datha Putrudu, Lakshadikaari and Jamindar under Ravindra Arts Pictures. He had actively participated in the freedom movement. He was the first general manager for Saradhi Studios. State Government has honoured him with Raghupathi Venkaiah Award.
