Tollywood actor, SVBC chairman Prudhvi's statements on Amaravati farmers and calling them as 'paid artists' did not go well with Posani Krishna Murali. He condemned Pruthvi's statements and advised him to watch his words properly.
Responding to this criticism Pruthvi said: "There is no chance of apologizing to farmers. I have respect towards the farmers and I did not demean them. I termed only binamies as paid artists and there are paid artists among the protestors who are protesting in the Amaravati regionâ.
He questioned Posani for not raising his voice when Chandrababu took lands from the farmers. He wondered how Posani can't see the Binami farmers in Amaravati.
Pruthvi said that he made these comments as a State Secretary of YSRCP and this will not degrade the partyâs reputation in any manner.
