AP government has given a key posting to Indian badminton star PV Sindhu. As she completed her training period as a Deputy Collector, the government has appointed her as the OSD of Lake View Guest House in Hyderabad.
In July 2017, the previous Chandrababu Naidu government had appointed Sindhu as Deputy Collector in Andhra Pradesh and the promotion came after the completion of her training period.
Sindhu had also requested that her training period for the Tokyo Olympics in July-August 2020 be treated as 'On Duty'. The Government order issued by the Chief Secretary sanctions the On Duty facility till 30 August 2020.
