PV Sindhu receives grand welcome at Shamshabad Airport after reaching Hyderabad
Indian ace shuttler PV Sindhu who bagged bronze at the Tokyo Olympics reached Hyderabad amid much fanfare. The celebrated woman badminton player received a stunning welcome at the Shamshabad Airport.
After landing at the airport, PV Sindhu was received by Telangana Sports Minister V. Srinivas Goud, Sports Authority of Telangana State (SATS) chairman A Venkateshwar Reddy, and others.
People who reached the airport to see her cheered for Sindhu. The bronze-winning player and her coach were felicitated by the officials upon their arrival. The officials showered praises on the player.
The sports minister called PV Sindhu a role model to the youngsters. Saying that everyone wished PV Sindhu to win a gold at the prestigious Tokyo Olympics, but winning bronze is also not a small thing, he said.
PV Sindhu expressed her happiness of bagging bronze speaking to the media and thanked the Telangana government for helping her in making required arrangements to arrange for her training sessions.
