Speculations were abuzz that Indian skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni has been in a relationship with actress Lakshmi Rai in the year 2008.
After 8 Years, Lakshmi Rai broke her silence: 'I was the Brand Ambassador for Chennai Super Kings for IPL 2008. That's when I met Dhoni and we bonded well. But, We never had plans to tie the knot. After the end of IPL season, I wasn't in touch with Dhoni. That's where the chapter ended'.
The Actress told she enquired about the story of 'MS Dhoni: The Untold Story' but failed to collect any information. 'I don't think my role was included in Dhoni's biopic. People were unnecessarily discussing about my past,' she opined.
Director Neeraj Pandey included two love tracks of Dhoni in the biopic. While one of them is that of Dhoni's ex-lover Priyanka Jha who died in an accident, The other one is the love life of MSD with his wife Sakshi.
