Raghurama says YSRCP can't win more than 65 seats

Update: 2022-06-11 04:57 GMT
Count on renegade YSRCP MP Raghuramakrishnam Raju for making outrageous comments. He has now claimed that the TDP would win 115 seats if and when the assembly elections were held in Andhra Pradesh. He said the YSRCP would be limited to just about 65 seats. He claimed that these were the results of a survey commissioned by the ruling YSRCP itself.

Raghurama however did not give any details about when the survey was commissioned and who conducted it. He only claimed that the YSRCP's boast of winning all the 175 seats in Andhra Pradesh was hollow and without basis.  He said contrary to what Jagan claims, there was pent up anger against the YSRCP MLAs among the people.

He said that over 100 YSRCP MLAs were facing severe anti-incumbency. He said the people were fed up with the functioning of the YSRCP MLAs. He said the people were ready to teach a fitting lesson to the YSRCP MLAs as and when the elections were held. In another 'shocking' prediction, Raghuramakrishnam Raju said that at least 120 of the 151 party MLAs would not even ask for the party ticket.

Interestingly, Raghurama did not furnish any detail about the survey except making these claims. He said that the MLAs were afraid of going to the people in the "Gadapa Gadapaku" programme. He said that they were afraid of the backlash from the people. Raghurama is Bhimavaram MP and has won on the YSRCP ticket. But, he has fallen out with the party and its leadership later. Since then, he has been highly critical of the YSRCP.
