Rahul Dravid is likely to be appointed as Team India's next chief coach by BCCI very soon.
Reportedly, BCCI Advisory Committee comprising of Sachin Tendulkar, Sourav Ganguly and VVS Laxman have contacted Rahul Dravid to know if he was keen to take over the reins of Team India's chief coach. It is learnt that Dravid told them he would give it a thought before taking a final decision.
Earlier, Rahul Dravid served as Chief Coach for India's Under-19 Team. It was after he took up the job, The Under-19 Team reached the final of U-19 World Cup.
As of now, Dravid is the mentor of IPL Franchise Delhi Daredevils to be captained by Indian pacer Zaheer Khan.
Right now, Sanjay Bangar, Bharat Arun and R Sridhar have been serving as Team India's assistant coach, bowling coach and fielding coach respectively.
