Rahul Gandhi is doing what Modi did long ago. After Modi gave a free-wheeling, non-political interview, even Rahul Gandhi has followed suit. On Thursday, he gave interviews to various media houses, where he tried not to talk much about politics. He spoke about his likes and dislikes. But,the answers he gave were typically trade-mark Rahul Gandhi answers.
When asked about his favourite fruits, Rahul said he does meditation regularly. Looking blandly at the anchor, he then elaborated. He said he meditates and then decides which fruit he likes. Then based on the signal he gets, he eats his favourable fruit. He was, however, in his elements when politics came up. He said he would conduct a probe into the Rafael deal and expose the culprits. He said there was a silent wave among the electorate for the Congress Party and added that the people would decided the prime minister.
