The Coronavirus continues to create havoc in the country. India has been reporting the highest number of Corona cases since the inception of the second wave. Adding more troubles, politicians, and celebrities are also getting infected with the virus.
Former Congress chief, Wayanad MP Rahul Gandhi became the new addition to the list of politicians, who were infected by the second wave of the novel Coronavirus.
Rahul Gandhi announced the same via Twitter. In his tweet, Rahul Gandhi said, he had tested positive for Covid with mild symptoms. The Gandhi scion urged everyone, those who have come in contact with him to follow the protocols.
"After experiencing mild symptoms, I've just tested positive for COVID. All those who've been in contact with me recently, please follow all safety protocols and stay safe," Rahul Gandhi tweeted.
Rahul Gandhi, who has been putting pressure on the Union Government to take required measures to combat the crisis has announced that he will not take part in any election rally given the Covid-19 scare.
The other day, Congress veteran, former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh had tested Coronavirus positive. He was admitted to Delhi AIIMS for treatment. His health condition is stable now.
