Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi on Friday paid a visit to Apollo Hospital in Chennai to see Tamil Nadu J Jayalalithaa who is undergoing treatment since September 22nd.
Soon after landing at the Airport, Rahul Gandhi went to the Apollo Hospital and visited the ICU where Tamil Nadu CM is being kept. Team of Doctors who were treating Jayalalithaa have briefed Rahul about the treatment being offered. 'CM have my support and also that of Congress President. I wish to give her maximum energy, so that she recovers soon. CM's health condition is improving,' he said, speaking to the media persons.
Rahul Gandhi's Tamil Nadu visit didn't last for more than 2 hours. He landed at around 11.20 am and boarded the flight to Delhi by 1 PM.
As per the latest health bulletin, Jayalalithaa is still on respiratory support and she will have to stay in hospital for a longer period. A 3-Member Doctors Team from AIIMS reached Chennai on Wednesday to examine CM's condition.
