Rahul gives yatra a break, rushes to Delhi

In a sudden development Rahul Gandhi has given a break to his Bharat Jodo Yatra. He was to rest in Telangana till October 26 on account of Diwali. However, he flew to Delhi and is likely to come back on October 26. He would leave for Delhi, where he would spend his time with his family during the Diwali

Sources say that Rahul Gandhi will also take part in the swearing in ceremony of new president of AICC Mallikarjun Kharge. He would then reach Makthal on the same day to resume the yatra from the next day. Congress sources confirmed that Rahul Gandhi has indeed left for New Delhi to spend time with the family .

Rahul entered Telangana  on October 22 at Makthal. The entered Telangana by crossing the Krishna river. The yatra would go on till November 9. He is likely to travel for 370 km as per the route map prepared.  The yatra would now resume from October 27, Congress sources said.

Rahul Gandhi is currently on a Bharat Jodo Yatra, which began in Kerala and has so far traversed Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh. His yatra will culminate in Srinagar. During the yatra, he will interact with the people from different walks of life. He would address public meetings frequenty.
