BJP President Amit Shah mocked the decision of Rahul Gandhi to contest from South India in 2019 Lok Sabha Polls. He went on to say Congress Chief ran away to Kerala as people of Amethi will seek an account of work done in the constituency represented by him.
Rahul Gandhi took the decision to contest from Wayanad Lok Sabha Constituency in Kerala this time. Amit Shah feels this attempt of Rahul is to win on the politics of polarisation.
Addressing the public meeting western Uttar Pradesh where BJP won all the eight Lok Sabha Seats in 2014, Amit Shah alleged: 'Congress Party has given clean chit to the Pakistan-based terror outfit Lashkar-e-Taiba in Samjhauta Express Bomb Blast Case. Instead, Swami Aseemanand and other innocent people are sentenced to prison in this case by branding Hindus as terrorists'.
On the other hand, Kerala CM Pinarayi Vijayan declared his party has got the strength to face anyone who challenges it even if it's Rahul Gandhi.
