Rail Transport To Start From June

Update: 2020-05-10 05:19 GMT
Due to nationwide lockdown, all the public transport, buses, trains, planes and everything are abruptly stopped, and no one is sure on when these services will be resumed again.

Meanwhile, the Central government of India is planning to resume rail transport from the first week of June. Due to lockdown, people are confined to the houses for more than fifty days, and many people are striving to make their travellings. By considering all these situations, the government is thinking of waving a green flag to trains in the country.

Even after the service is resumed, there will be certain measures on social distancing, and only limited people are allowed in the trains. The authorities are planning in a way that only limited people will be sitting in a coach.

The decision regarding this will be taken a review meeting held by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the 17th of May. Two of the ministers already said their opinion that trains should run after 17.

However, there is no clarity on road transport. The central government passed the authority to state governments to take a call on resuming the road transport. The Chief Minister KCR has already announced that the buses will be reviewed again on the 15th of this month. KCR is expected to make a final decision in this meeting.
