Rajasthan MLA Bachchu Singh invited severe criticism after he posted a selfie which was shot during a fire mishap that burnt many houses in his constituency on Facebook.
Reportedly, Bachchu Singh rushed to Nagla Moroli Daang area in Bayana town after he came to know about the fire accident. He took out his mobile and shot a selfie upon reaching the spot.
Netizens came down heavily on the BJP Legislator for his insensitive post. People questioned, 'Is that the right time to take a selfie?' & opined 'MLA could have poured at least 2 buckets of water to put off the fire'.
Following the backlash, Mr.Singh claimed it's not a selfie and he just posted it to inform the officials that he had reached the accident site. He further explains, 'SDM didn't pick up my phone. So, I called up ADM to inform that I had reached the spot and sent the picture as confirmation'.
