I Didn't Understand What Is My Mistake: Rajinikanth

Update: 2018-06-07 07:20 GMT
It is known that Karnataka Film Chamber has imposed a ban on the release of 'Kaala' saying that Rajinikanth made comments against Karnataka in the Cauvery water issue.  Dhanush has approached the court and the court clarified that they should not impose a ban on the film.  On the other hand, Supreme Court has canceled all the petitions against 'Kaala'.

Karnataka CM Kumaraswamy opined that if they release 'Kaala' in the present situation, it will attract troubles though they respect the court order.  Rajinikanth sent a personal text message requesting him to ensure the smooth release of 'Kaala'.  But there is no response from Kumaraswamy.  Now, Rajinikanth has once again spoken on the issue.

He said that he didn't speak anything against Karnataka... he only commented that they should follow Cauvery management board decisions as per the Supreme Court orders.  He said that he has not made any other remarks on the KA government other than this comment.  He wondered what's wrong with his comment. He said that "I didn't understand what is the mistake in my comment. My film is releasing worldwide, it is not to stop the release in Karnataka."

He expressed his hope that Kumaraswamy will take measures to ensure the smooth release.  He requested the Kannada organisations not to stop the audience who wanted to watch 'Kaala'. It is interesting to see how they are going to respond to Thalaiva's request.
