There is chaos in Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha on the first day of Winter session as Opposition Parties protested against the demonetization drive. Congress, Trinamool Congress, Samajwadi Party, AAP and Left Members raised slogans against NDA Government. They pledged not to allow functioning of the Parliament unless Prime Minister Narendra Modi takes part in the debate on currency ban. Both the Houses were adjourned for the day.
Congress MP Ghulam Nabi Azad alleged Pakistan Terrorists didn't kiss as many people as that of NDA with its wrong policies. Opposition complained that a Rs 500 crore wedding took place at the time when farmers are dying in the country.
BJP, on the other hand, asked if Congress want to support Pak-sponsored terrorism. Ruling Party MPs made it clear demonetization drive won't be rolled back at any cost.
If the Opposition Parties remain firm on their stand, Government mayn't be able to pass many Bills in the current session. May be, Modi would address the Nation from Parliament before the end of the session.
