Ram Gopal Verma, the controversial director of Telugu Cinema, decided to appear in front of Cyber Crime branch, today, that is, Saturday. He was given notices to help in the investigation of his comments against women while promoting God, Sex and Truth.
Many women empowerment NGO's took the matter to Cyber Crime branch and under IPC section 502 and IT act, the cases have been filed against him.
Verma had to attend the investigation last Thursday but as he was busy in Mumbai, shooting for NagRGV4, the director asked police officials to change the date of interrogation.
He offered full co-operation and extended full support and respect to the judicial system of India, in his request to postpone the date on last Thursday.
Considering his request, Police department gave him fresh set of notices and he agreed to appear for interrogation on Saturday.
He currently is in Cyber Crime Police Station and a small bench of senior officers are appointed to investigate the case and interrogate RGV.
Right now, Ram Gopal Verma is concentrating on Nagarjuna's film and after that, he has plans to direct GST2 as well.
