After fifteen years of a long struggle, a person who was dismissed from the duties in Telangana got his job back with the help of the Human Rights Commission.
K Rambabu who used to work as a bank manager in Telangana Grameena bank had fallen ill in 1996. With this, he applied for the leave and rested for a while. But the authorities dismissed him without considering his leave alleging that Rambabu failed to attend his job.
Rambabu had approached the High Court seeking justice for his reinstatement. In 2005, the High Court ruled in favour of him, but the authorities neglected the court orders.
In this backdrop, he approached the Human Rights Commission with all details in this context. The HRC, which examined the case, directed the Chairmen of the bank to reappoint Rambabu as per the High Court orders.
Telangana Grameena Bank chairman on Wednesday said that Rambabu would be taken on duty as per the directions of the Human Rights Commission. After getting his job back, Rambabu thanked the HRC for supporting him amid the crisis times.
