Rivalry between Media Baron Ramoji Rao and Former Congress MP Undavalli Arun Kumar is known to one and all. Today, Undavalli held a press conference to fault Padma honour for the Chairman of Eenadu Group.
Speaking to media at the Press Club in Somajiguda, Undavalli questioned how a tainted person like Ramoji Rao who is facing lot of cases be honoured with Padma Vibhushan which is India's second highest honour. 'What message does Government of India wishes to convey to the society? So, I request State Government which recommended the honour, Central Government which announced it and President Pranab Mukherjee who will be presenting it to consider my appeal,' he told.
Undavalli commented Padma Awards aren't a big deal and everybody will be discussing about these honors only for four days. He pointed out the Hyderabad High Court's order in Mohan Babu's case preventing use of Padma Awards as suffix or prefix to the names.
