After Ravan & Sita now Ram too joined BJP

Small screen actor  Arun Govil, known for his role as Lord Rama in mega teleserial 'Ramayan', is all set to join the BJP. The 57-year-old Govil is expected to join the party ahead of the Bihar or UP assembly polls.

Though the BJP central leadership is yet to take a final call on his induction, Govil has already expressed his wish to work for a political party. With this Rama, Ravana and Sita joined the BJP

Arvind Trivedi who played Ravana role  and Deepika Chikhlia Topiwala who played role of Sita joined the saffron party long back and they both were two-time MPs of the party earlier.Earlier, Gajendra Chauhan famed as Yudhishtir in popular serial 'Mahabharat' had become a member of the saffron party.

Arun Govil is famous for his role as Lord Ram in DD's Ramayan and he had earlier campaigned for the Congress. Ramayan is an Indian epic television series, which aired during 1987-1988, created, written, and directed by Ramanand Sagar
