Why Is Chandrababu Afraid Of Seniors?

Update: 2018-10-06 04:39 GMT
Suddenly, Chandrababu Naidu seems to be promoting younger leaders in the TDP. He is looking for promising young leaders and wants to field them in 2019 elections. Clearly, Chandrababu wants the senior TDP leaders out of the picture.

Why? Because he is afraid that the seniors might revolt against the leadership of his son Nara Lokesh, whom he wants to make the next chief minister. Already several ministers in the TDP government in Andhra Pradesh are deeply upset over the importance being given to Lokesh. Some have even taken up the issue with Chandrababu Naidu. Yanamala is said to be keeping a low profile just because of this. Ministers like Ch Ayyanna Patrudu and Ganta Srinivasa Rao, who do not see eye to eye on any issue, are united in their opposition to Lokesh. Chandrababu knows that if he announced Lokesh as the chief minister, the seniors might stage a revolt and even break the party. The senior ministers have a very low opinion about Lokesh and many were even heard comparing him with Rahul andhi. So, Chandrababu wants to replace them with young leaders who will be willing to work under Lokesh. The senior leaders are watching all this and some leaders like Yanamala have already requested to be nominated to the Rajya Sabha so that they can save themselves from working under Lokesh.
