Karnataka Congress and JD (S) MLAs were supposed to stay in Kerala until BS Yeddyurappa takes part in the floor test at 4 pm on Saturday. Instead, They have been shifted to Hyderabad in the end. What could be the reason?
Congress Leader Ghulam Nabi Azad disclosed why the destination has been changed to Hyderabad - 'Initially, We thought of sending our MLAs to Kerala as BJP kept threatening them but permission was denied for flight journey from Bengaluru to Kochi. So, We brought the Legislators to Hyderabad by road. BJP has been making a mockery of democracy. They tried to influence 21 of our MLAs'.
Most of the Congress and JD (S) MLAs have been staying at T Subbarami Reddy's Park Hyatt. Few Legislators have been in Taj Krishna and Novotel. All these Hotels have been owned by Congress Supporters.
As Supreme Court ordered for Floor Test at 4 PM on Saturday, Congress and JD (S) MLAs will be shifted to Bengaluru after midnight. All eyes are now on how they will be brought back to Bengaluru safely.
