Following the spread of the novel coronavirus, the nationwide lockdown got extended till the 17th of May and the Union Health Ministry has divided the areas as zones on the grounds of the virus spread.
The Union Health Ministry has classified the 733 districts in the country as Red, Orange, and Green zones accordingly. The Metropolitan cities Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Bengaluru, Kolkata, and Ahmedabad were classified as the 'no activity zone'.
Based on the number of positive cases, the total Hyderabad/GHMC area was declared as the Red Zone. All the 130 Red Zones' strict rules and regulations will be imposed.
On the other hand, green and orange zones will be given some relaxations as the situation is under control in these zones compared to that of the Red Zones. But the social distancing and basic measure will be active in green and orange zones.
