The toxic gas leakage that took place in the VV Venkatapuram Village of Visakhapatnam resulted in the deaths of around eight people including two minors. 200 people were hospitalized and around 2,000 people were directly exposed to toxic gas.

A five member committee was constituted to find out the cause behind the tragic incident and the committee will submit its detailed report on the 17th of MAY and based on it the government will take all the necessary actions.
