Saudi Arabia is the only nation in the world to impose certain tough restrictions on women even in the 21st Century. The Arabic Nation has eased few restrictions in the recent past, There is still a long way to go to even draw comparisons with non-Arabic Nations.

1) Women no longer need Guardian's permission to work
2) Access to Physical Education: Women could play sports in public schools.
3) Women allowed to enter a Sports Stadium in Riyadh with Family for Saudi National Day.
4) Women can obtain services sans permission of their Guardian in Government Offices
5) Foreign Women who were permitted to veil (cloth used to coceal the face) can now get away with only an burqa
What Women could still can't do in Saudi?
1) Can't Marry, Divorce, Travel, Obtain a Passport, Open a Bank Account & Undergo a Medical Procedure without the consent of their Male Guardians
2) Women face imprisonment if they socialize with Males other than their Family Members & Close Relatives.
3) Not allowed to eat in restaurants sans a separate family section
4) Wearing an Abaya & Veil is a must in public places
5) Muslim Women can't marry Non-Muslims. Whereas, Sunni Women shouldn't marry a Shia Man or a Atheist
6) At least Two Men should testify a Woman's Character if she seeks a loan or a licence for certain businesses
7) Women can't claim the custody for their children post divorce if their son is seven-years-old and daughter is nine-years-old
