Revanth reddy booked under criminal case

Revanth Reddy, Telangana TDP leader was booked on Tuesday by the Banjara Hills police for allegedly making remarks against the Chief Minister K Chandrasekhara Rao. The Banjara Hills Police registered a case against Revanth on charges of trying to defame Telangana CM KCR.

Following a complaint filed by an advocate Govardhan Reddy in the Nampally Criminal Court against the TDP leader, the Banjara Hills police served a notice on Revanth Reddy. A case has been registered against him under Sections 504, 505 of the IPC

Earlier Revanth Reddy had accused  KCR  of  receiving  crores of rupees as bribe from engineering college and medical college managements and hiking  fees for the management and NRI seats in the colleges. The firebrand  leader accused KCR that he received a whopping Rs. 100 crores as bribe from the Engineering and Medical college managements.

Revanth Reddy has been hitting the headlines regularly for his comments against the TRS and the state government.The recent development was termed as TRS leadership’s game plan  to corner Revanth.
