The ongoing dispute between Telangana IT Minister K. T. Rama Rao and Congress MP Revanth Reddy took a different turn with the later filing a contempt of court petition against the police.
The MP filed the petition against Madhapur ACP Shyamprasad Rao and Narsangi Gangadhar Inspector Gangadhar for arresting him for flying a drone over the alleged illegal construction at KTR's farmhouse.
Revanth Reddy said that the police did not issue Section 41-A, CrPC which states that the police officer shall issue a notice directing the person against whom a reasonable complaint has been made.
While the police who arrested him for flying a drone over the alleged illegal construction did not follow the procedure, the MP who is known as a firebrand said that the cops committed contempt of court.
