Only One Indian in Ponting's All-Time XI

Australian legend Ricky Ponting has announced his 'All-Time XI'. Except Sachin Tendulkar, None of the Indians were able to find a spot the Greatest XI. Ponting opined there won't be too many Greatest XIs without Sachin and his longevity is remarkable. The former skipper also told Cricket God has given Australians a lot of nightmares and won many matches.

Ponting choose five Australians, two West Indians and one each from India, Sri Lanka, South Africa and Pakistan.

While Australian pair Hayden & Langer will open the Innings, Iconic players Kallis, Sachin, Lara and Sangakkara will form the middle order. Gilchrist is being chosen as the Wicketkeeper. In the bowling department, Services of Warne, Ambrose, Akram and McGrath could be used.
