This Senior Hero had Tea with Dawood!

Bollywood veteran Rishi Kapoor disclosed untold facts about himself in his autobiography. In 1988, He met Dawood Ibrahim for the first time in Dubai when he went there for Asha Bhosle-RD Burman concert.

Dawood Ibrahim have the habit of making one of his men stay at the Dubai airport to inform him about the VIPs entering or leaving the country. When Rishi Kapoor was at the airport, A stranger walked up to him and offered him a phone to speak saying 'Dawood saab baat karenge'. Dawood told Rishi to seek any help he wants from him and also invited him to his house.

Once, Dawood's right hand Baba informed Rishi Kapoor that the Don would like to have tea with him. Rishi Kapoor was picked up from hotel by Dawood's men in Rolls Royce and they ensured that the actor doesn't know the exact route to the Den. Dawood greeted Rishi Kapoor and told he offered tea because he neither drinks or serves alcohol. The meeting lasted for four hours. Dawood introduced himself as Allah's Messenger and didn't have any regrets for his criminal activities. The next time he met Dawood was when he went for shopping in a Lebanese store in Dubai in the year 1989. Dawood surrounded by bodyguards even offered to buy him anything but Rishi Kapoor declined it.

Dawood liked Rishi Kapoor's film 'Tawaif' in which his name is Dawood. In 'D-Day', Rishi played the role of Dawood Ibrahim.
