Rishi Sunak Gearing For Major Test in UK Prime Minister Race!

Update: 2022-07-14 06:08 GMT
Former Prime Minister of the United Kingdom Boris Johnson left a big void in politics. The nation is in need of a strong leader who could succeed Boris as the Prime Minister. A few leaders, including Indian-origin Ministers, are the front runners for the crucial post.

Experts say that, out of all the aspirants, the UK Member of Parliament for Richmond Rishi Sunak has a high chance of becoming the Prime Minister given his experience and his abilities. Having the experience of walking with Boris Johnson is his biggest advantage. The recently held voting also says the same.

The race for the Prime Minister seat is getting interesting as Rishi Sunak has passed the first big test and got the hights votes in the first round of the votes. Rishi Sunak got 88 votes, followed by Penny Mordaunt and Truss Liz, who got 67 and 50 votes respectively

Rishi Sunak and Penny Mordaunt are the top contestants for the Prime Minister post. The next round of voting which is slated to happen soon is going to be crucial. The conservatives will vote for their preferrable leader and the voting will decide who will get closer to the Prime Minister post.

Both leaders are having their plus and minus and Rishi Sunka might have a tough time facing Penny Mordaunt, as it is said that the Conservative Party is reportedly in favor of Penny Mordaunt and they are trying their best to gather support for the contestant.

The Conservative Party is not happy with Boris Johnson and created a situation that forced him to step down. Indian-origin Rishi Sunak is closely associated with Boris and many call him the shadow of the ex-Prime Minister. Boris encouraged and nurtured Rishi. This angle might work against Rishi in the voting and it has to be observed how he overcomes the same.

Another thing that has to be mentioned here is that the Minister of State for Trade of the United Kingdom Penny Mordaunt was born and brought up in the country and she is a local candidate. Though Rishi Sunak was also born in the UK, his roots are from India, and the Conservative Party is believed t be in no mood to have an Indian origin as the Prime Minister of the nation.

The forthcoming round of votes will clear all the doubts about the next Prime Minister and the whole world is eagerly waiting to see how Rishi Sunak and others will fare in the next round of votes.
