Train robberies are rampant in Telugu states and the robbers not leaving IPS officers too. In a shocking incident a woman police IPS officer was robbed at knife point. The incident was happened when she was travelling in Secunderabad-Guntur Simhapuri express.The victim, A N Ratna, was an IPS officer working in Andhra Pradesh Police Academy in Hyderabad.
They robbed her gold ornaments at knife point in the running train at Manubolu in Nellore district. The robbers entered the train near Nellore and attacked SM Ratna and took away her jewellery and cash. The dacoits also attacked Rathna with knives and she sustained few injuries.She was admitted to the Gudur Government hospital, where she was being treated.On the complaint from her, Gudur police are investigating the case.
