Media Reports about the robbery at the Seetha Ramachandra Swamy Temple in Bhadrachalam have been creating sensation.
Pavitrotsavam was held from August 13th to 18th in the Seetha Ramachandra Swamy Temple. It was then Authorities came to know about the missing jewellery. Speculations were ripe that Jewellery of Lord Rama might have accidentally fallen during Pavitrotsavam. Some say, Gold Ornaments get struck in the garlands once in a while and priests mayn't have noticed it while removing them.
