Following the death of HCU scholar Rohit Vemula, The Mother of the deceased urged Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal to offer his Young Son a Government Job. On February 24th, AAP Government offered a Group C Government Job & Accommodation to Rohith Vemula's Brother Raja Chaitanya Kumar on compassionate grounds.
Advocate Avadh Kaushik filed a petition in Delhi High Court complaining the decision of AAP Government as illegal and politically motivated. Pointing out that Rohith's Brother isn't a resident of National Capital, He termed it a doing injustice to Delhi youth who were aspiring Government job based on merit.
When the petition came up for hearing, Delhi Government informed High Court that Rohit Vemula's Brother had refused to take up the job offered by it on compassionate grounds. So, It sought the High Court to quash the writ petition filed by the Lawyer.
