A debate organized by a popular News Channel between AP Minister Bhuma Akhila Priya and YSR Congress MLA RK Roja over the upcoming by-election in Nandyal Assembly Constituency has been widely discussed now. As expected, YSRC Fire Brand had an upper hand over the young & upcoming Politician.
Akhila Priya clarified her family & TDP took Nandyal by-poll prestigiously because of YCP Candidate Shilpa Mohan Reddy not due to Jagan. She claimed to be have immense respect for YS Jaganmohan Reddy. 'Our Family faced lot of problems because of Shilpa Brothers. Hence, We targeted them be it while issuing party ticket or election campaigning. People in the grassroots level are against Shilpa Mohan Reddy. Recently, He insulted few women and hence a protest was staged at his house,' said the Tourism Minister.
In response, Roja alleged TDP has become C/o Address for leaders who insult Women. She pointed out, 'Balakrishna insulted women at the audio launch of 'Savitri'. In Assembly itself, Bonda Uma treated Me in a disrespectful manner. Budha Venkanna heckled Me pointing out the roles I had done in films. Are these examples of respecting Women?'.
Roja made good use of the debate to expose Government's Failures & take the principles followed by YCP into the people. Whereas, TDP Supporters believes Akhila Priya could have avoided debate with a fire brand like Roja.
