Famous Auto-Manufacturing Lays Off 9,000 Employees

The deadly outbreak of the fatal disease resulted in the worst crisis ever of our times and many Corporate giants also faced huge losses and many companies have laid off their employees too.

Now the famous British luxury automobile maker Rolls Royce Motor Cars joined the list and the company has decided to lay off 9,000 employees as a measure to combat the crisis.

These 9,000 workers will translate to 17% of the workforce in the Rolls that manufactures the Jet engines. This latest development will, in turn, impacts the civil aerospace business.

This daring and bold move came from the manufacturer as the company decided to save 1 billion pounds this year and the amount saved by the company will increase gradually.

The Chief Executive Officer(CEO) of the Rolls Royce Holdings Plc Warren East termed the current crisis as the worst crisis faced by the company since the 1970s.
