Star Plus has spent Rs 100 crore for its Tele Serial Maha Bharath and it is also catering additional Rs 20 crore for marketing it in a big way. This is said to be the costliest serial ever on the Television circuit.
Star Plus management made it clear that the new Maha Bharath is no way similar to Doordarshans popular Maha Bharath series. This mega serial will be launched on 16th of this month and it is expected to attract children and families across the country. The TRPs of Star are going to reach a new high from this month.
The channel is also planning a fiction series with Amitabh Bachchan and this project would be directed by critically acclaimed filmmaker Anurag Kashyap.
