Sabarimala Temple Opened - Not For Women!

Update: 2018-10-19 05:09 GMT
Tension prevailed in Sabarimala due to the protestors opposing entry of Women into Lord Ayyappa Temple. There were even speculations on social media that Temple will be closed to stop women in the age group of 10-50 from breaking the centuries old tradition. However, Sabarimala Temple Head Priest Kandaru Rajeevaru dismissed the rumours in circulation - 'Temple doors will remain open…performing pujas regularly is our duty'.

At the same time, Kandaru Rajeevaru requested Women in menstrual age not to visit Sabarimala Temple citing the tradition of the shrine & sentiments of devotees.

While responding on few disturbing incidents in the past few days, Mr. Rajeevaru told Sabarimala is a place where women are respected. He appealed people not to turn the garden of Lord Ayyappa into a War Zone.

Protestors refused to allow Women Devotees into the Sabarimala Temple inspite of deployment of police force. Several Families have been returning without the darshan as they were scared that protestors might resort to violence.

Are the people who are protesting in Sabarimala really Ayyappa Devotees? If Centre & State Government collectively fail to implement the Supreme Court order, What message it sends to the society? The problem will be sorted out if PM, BJP & Hindutva Groups claim they have accepted SC verdict.
