Former Anakapalli MP Sabbam Hari is one of the influential leaders in Visakhapatnam. He hogged the limelight while being in Jagan's Camp after the demise of YS Rajasekhar Reddy. Jagan, however, kept him at a distance after he refused to resign and contest by-election. Later, He decided contest 2014 Polls on the ticket of Kiran Kumar Reddy's Jai Samaikyandhra Party but withdrew from contest in the last minute.

Sabbam Hari: 'Congress Party offered Me Anakapalli MP Ticket in 2009 Polls. Allu Aravind from Praja Rajyam and Nookarapu Suryaprakash Rao from TDP are my opponents in that election. Nobody expected me to win. But, I announced my victory with a majority of 50,000 votes after filing nomination. I won with a majority of 53,000. Just Rs 8 lakh has been spent by Me during this election'.

In 1988, Hari announced that Congress Candidate T Subbarami Reddy will win with a margin of 5,000 votes. His prediction has come true even then.
