1009 runs in 323 balls; Sachin says well done

We have already reported about school boy Pranav Dhanawade who scored 1009 not out from 323 balls in a tournament in Mumbai on Monday. Pranav with his unbelievable feat holds world record for highest individual score in any class of cricket.

Legendary batsman  Sachin Tendulkar on Tuesday congratulated Pranav Dhanawade for becoming the first batsman in the history of the game to score 1000 runs in an innings.Sachin took to social micro-blogging site Twitter to congratulate the 15-year-old.

Pranav broke a 116-year-old record after surpassing 652 on Monday, thus taking over the reins of the highest individual score from A.E.J. Collins of England.

Pranav Dhanawade hailed from poor family and he is son of an auto-rickshaw driver. The 15 year old  achieved this feat against Arya Gurukul School in the HT Bhandari Cup inter-school tournament organised by the Mumbai Cricket Association
