Infosys Founder-Chairman NR Narayana Murthy claims to be unhappy over the thousands of lay-offs by IT Companies in the recent past. In reply to an email seeking his opinion on IT Lay-Offs, He wrote, 'It is sad'.
Wipro and Cognizant served pink slips to thousands of its employees citing poor performance. While Wipro asked 600-odd Employees to leave the organization, Cognizant had sent home even Directors and Vice Presidents offering them 6 to 9 months salary.
