Jwala took to Twitter on Wednesday after Saina announced her joining the BJP and said: "Pehli baar Suna hai...bewajah khelna shuru kiya aur ab bewajah party join kiya...( am hearing for the first time...someone started playing for no reason and now joining a party for no reason)." Without naming either Saina or the BJP, she slammed both.
However, Twitterati did not take kindly to her unkind comment. Many twitterati slammed her for being jelous. Some said Jwala has proved that a woman's worst enemy is a woman. Many have also asked her to take down her tweet. Some have also alluded to her proximity to former cricketer and Congress leader Azharuddin's son and attributed her tweet to this. Jwala, as always, was defiant and did not bother to reply to the trolls. But, some Congress-backed twitterati came to her rescue and said now Saina will play in Khaki shorts. Interestingly, the RSS has abandoned khaki shorts in its uniform long ago.
