Update: 2018-01-11 08:39 GMT
Taxpaying is always a trending topic in the society. Now, Brijesh Upadhyay, general secretary of Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh, said salaried class employees shouldn’t be paying taxes. He revealed that every salaried person wants not to pay the taxes and assured that it can only be achieved if only best practices are followed.

Brijesh Upadhyay also said that the Labourers in India are the most poorly paid people and added that those who deliver the services and get paid need not pay taxes for what they receive. Central trade unions have demanded tax exemption on income of up to Rs 5 lakh, a minimum monthly wage of Rs 18,000 and Rs 3,000 minimum pension for workers.

Upadhyay also raised concerns about India not having a national employment policy. Upadhyay discussed the importance of having an employment policy and stressed the fact that it's been seventy years that India has no employment policy.
