Hit-and-Run case: Salman Khan acquitted of all charges!

The Bombay High Court on Thursday acquitted Bollywood star Salman Khan of all charges in the 2002 hit-and-run case.

Justice AR Joshi asked Salman Khan to be present personally in the court while the judgement in the case is read out. So, The Bollywood Actor rushed to the court at around 1.30 PM Today. Then, the court pronounced the verdict acquitting Salman Khan of all charged in the hit-and-run case on the grounds that evidence provided by the prosecution wasn't sufficient to come to a conclusion that he was driving the ill-fated land cruiser under the influence of alcohol at the time of accident.

Earlier, A Sessions Court sentenced Salman Khan to five years in prison on the charges of culpable homicide not amounting to murder. With Bombay High Court's verdict, Salman is free from all the charges and the 13-year long case has come to an end.
