The tremendous pre-release buzz of Baadshah seems to have reached Bollywood. Top Stars and big production houses have been eyeing the remake rights of this commercial entertainer.

Until recently, Salman Khan who tasted success with Hindi remakes of Telugu hits (Pokiri, Ready) is the front-runner in the race. However, the biggest star of the country has backed out fearing the astronomical figure quoted by Bandla Ganesh for selling the remake rights.

Earlier, Bandla Ganesh announced his plans to remake Baadshah in Bollywood under Srinu Vytla's direction. When Salman expressed his desire to acquire the rights, Bandla Ganesh came up with the proposal that he would be producing the Hindi remake. However, the idea was put down when the actor made it clear he wants to produce it on his brother Arbaaz Khan's home banner.

Finally, when Salman enquired about the rate card of remake rights, he got the shock of his life as this figure is something he hasn't heard ever. He felt it's not an intelligent move to invest such huge sum prior to the release and preferred to wait till the day Telugu version hits the screens to estimate the Box Office fate.
