AP BJP is still able to increase the count of its leaders and cadre even after denying Special Category Status and neglecting Bifurcation Promises. It comes as a surprise that even the members of well-established Political Families in the state aren't hesitant to join the Saffron Party.
Sanchaita Gajapathi Raju, who happens to be the scion of Vizianagaram Royal Family, joined BJP in the presence of Party's AP President Kanna Lakshminarayana, Visakha MP Kambhampati Haribabu and Daggubati Purandeswari. She is the Daughter of former MPs Anand & Uma Gajapathi Raju.
Former Union Minister & TDP Polit Bureau Member Ashok Gajapathi Raju is the younger brother of Anand Gajapathi Raju who had even served as Minister in NTR Cabinet in the 80s. Members of Ashok Gajapathi Raju Family worked for Janata Party, TDP and Congress so far. This is for the first time they have joined BJP.
Sanchaita Gajapathi Rao has been operating an NGO named Social Awareness Newer Alternatives (SANA) which is aimed at providing clean drinking water to coastal villages of Visakha and East Godavari districts using latest technology. Her entry would certainly boost the morale of BJP Leaders and Cadre to some extent.
