Farmer Agitation: Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Raut Comes Up With A Solution

Update: 2020-12-16 14:30 GMT
Shiv Sena leader and Member of Parliament Sanjay Raut has reacted to the ongoing farmer agitation started by farmers against controversial agricultural bills for more than a month.

Talking about the agitation, the MP said, the ongoing protests can be ended if Prime Minister Narendra Modi steps in.

In his recent interview with news agency ANI, Raut said, if the government wants to put an end to the agitation, the government could hold talks with the farmers and resolve the issue within an hour.

Adding further, Sanjay Raut said, the issue can be resolved in five minutes, if Prime Minister Narendra Modi intervened. He is such a big leader, he can solve the issue.

Farmers from Punjab, Haryana, and some parts of Uttar Pradesh are staging protests near Delhi with a demand to scarp the three agricultural bills for more than three weeks.

The multiple talks held between the government and farmer union leaders didn't yield a fruitful outcome as the farmers didn't agree to the changes offered by the government
