Pak's National Security Advisor warns India

Update: 2015-08-25 09:09 GMT
Pakistan National Security Advisor Sartaj Aziz condemns the allegations that his country was responsible for the cancellation of NSA-level talks. He accuses Prime Minister Narendra Modi of considering India as a regional superpower and ignoring the fact that Pakistan is a nuclear power.

Sartaj Aziz warns: "PM Modi thinks India is a regional super power. We are also a nuclear-armed nation, We knew how to defend ourselves".

Mr Aziz alleges India wants NSA-level talks to be held on its terms and only on matters relating to trade & connectivity. He questioned why India has stationed 7 lakh troops on the border if Kashmir wasn't an issue at all. He also commented India's tactics aren't fruitful and Pakistan won't run from talks on terrorism.

NSA-level Talks were cancelled in the last minute only due to Sartaj Aziz's meeting with Separatist Leaders and bringing the Kashmir issue.
