Update: 2019-01-06 11:19 GMT
Congress Party took a sensational decision on Sunday. Former Union Minister Sarve Satyanarayana was suspended from the party for making objectionable remarks against Telangana in-charge Khuntiya and T-PCC Chief Uttam Kumar Reddy during the review meeting.

Sarve Satyanarayana was accused of trying to attack T-PCC Chief Secretary Bollu Kishan during the meeting. He had spoken about irrelevant topics and launched scathing attack on the party leadership. Following which, A suspension order has been passed by the High Command.

In 2004 and 2009 Lok Sabha Polls, Sarve Satyanarayana won on Congress Ticket from Siddipet and Malkajgiri. He, however, faced defeat in 2014 Lok Sabha Polls and 2015 Warangal By-election. Sarve conceded defeat contesting from Cantonment Constituency in the recent Assembly Polls. Congress Leadership is of the impression that Sarve disrespected it even after offering him ample prominence.
