Why Sasikala's Parole was rejected?

Update: 2017-10-03 17:31 GMT
Karnataka Prisons Department on Tuesday rejected the application moved by VK Sasikala Natarajan seeking 15 days parole.

It is known that Sasikala appealed Prisons Department to approve her parole citing her husband M Natarajan's poor health condition. However, Superintendent Somashekar denied parole on grounds that the affidavit submitted doesn't have sufficient details. Sasikala's Counsel was asked to file a fresh application if her client wishes to get parole.

Sasikala has been lodged in Parappana Agrahara Central Prison since February 2017 after being convicted in Jayalalithaa illegal assets case. Supreme Court upheld the verdict of trail court sentencing A2 Sasikala, A3 Ilavarasi and A4 Sudhakaran for four years.

74-Year-Old Natarajan has been undergoing treatment in Chennai hospital after he suffered multiple-organ failure. Sasikala and Natarajan were living separately since 1990. It was only after Jayalalithaa's Death, Mr. Natarajan was spotted with Sasikala and he became active in AIADMK. He will be undergoing Liver Transplant soon.
